Jackie began painting and drawing portraits at the age of seven. People’s eyes always fascinated her, even as a child. AT that time, her style was that of the impressionist, although she will tell you she did not know it had a name.  

She graduated from a private school in Los Angeles Called Mission Renaissance (now the Gluck  Method), where she studied the old Masters and the most notable impressionists. Jackie studied both oil and Pastels during this time. She spent years in the Los Angeles art community till she  Moved to Phoenix in the early 1990s. 

Since she moved to the Valley of the Sun, she only worked on commissioned work, mostly baby Portraits and Pets.  

Since then, Jackie has discovered Colored pencils and Pastel pencils which reignited her passion for creating her original works of art. Jackie is still studying her craft, this time under some of the best Color pencils artists in the world. Her goal is to have her work move you to feel joy when you see one of her original works of art.
